How does Tadkir calculate prayer times?
Tadkir computes adhan times directly on your device from your location and your chosen calculation method — no servers in between. Because the engine runs offline, your prayer times stay accurate and private wherever you are, once your location has been set.
Does Tadkir work without an internet connection?
Yes. Prayer times, the Qibla compass, adhkar and streaks all run fully offline on your phone. Tadkir only needs your location once to begin; after that it keeps working with no account and no connection required.
Is Tadkir free?
Tadkir is free to download on the App Store and includes a free trial. If you genuinely can't afford a subscription, you can apply for free or subsidised access — no one should be kept from their prayers over money.
What is Focus Mode and how does it work?
Focus Mode gently quiets the apps that distract you when it's time to pray. Built on Apple Screen Time, it lets you choose exactly which apps to pause during prayer windows, so the first thing you reach for is your prayer, not your feed.
